Ingredients

Brioche French Toast:

  • 8 eggs
  • 2 cups 2% milk
  • 4 tablespoon sugar
  • 4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 24 slices day-old brioche bread

Cinnamon Glaze:

  • 1/2 cup butter softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons ground cinnamon

Cream Cheese Drizzle:

  • 2 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 7 tablespoons butter softened
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar sifted
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

Brioche French Toast:

  • In a shallow bowl, beat eggs; add the milk, sugar, vanilla and salt. Soak bread for 30 seconds on each side. Cook on a greased hot griddle until golden brown on both sides and cooked through.

Cinnamon Glaze:

  • Mix all ingredients in bowl and pour over cooked french toast.

Cream Cheese Drizzle:

  • Beat together the cream cheese and butter with an electric mixer in a large bowl until creamy. Mix in the vanilla and milk, then gradually mix in the confectioners' sugar and salt until smooth and fluffy.

Notes

Tips:To make it a bit more elegant sprinkle a dash of powdered sugar on the plate and add a dollop of whipped cream.
