That are the recipe for this Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff.
This is so delicious , and easy to make on a busy day.

We just love pasta in my home.
And add cheese and meat and veggies we are in heaven.
Oh, did I mention cheese?
You have to absolutely add cheese.
Cream cheese, like in this recipe, makes a thick sauce.
Other cheeses, such as parmesan, Alfredo, asiago, and mozzarella work well with this dish.
Just make sure you add those cheeses just before the meal is ready to be served.
The addition of the avocado just adds more flavor and texture to the pasta.
The different cheeses lend a different flavor to your dish.
I found this information from Food and Wine where they talk about the top five cheeses and what pasta they compliment.
I have not tried all these dishes. This list provided is simply for you to peruse.
I did see a few dishes I may want to put together with this list.
Let me know if you have used any of the combinations!
Goat Cheese is best when it’s mixed with warm pasta and some reserved pasta cooking water. Fresh goat cheese becomes a light, tangy and luxurious sauce.
Gooey, rich Brie is amazing in a silky pasta like fettuccine with escarole.
Taleggio is pungent. But a melty Taleggio is particularly great in a baked pasta such as baked shells with cauliflower.
Provolone is usually shredded and used in pastas for a salty, creamy effect.
Gorgonzola is best paired with other strong flavors. It also is salty so be careful using with other salty ingredients. A great use is penne with brussels sprouts.

Glad you find it interesting. If the family likes pasta, this is the one! Enjoy your weekend.
I can always use another chicken recipe, and I can always use another slow cooker recipe! This sounds delicious, but I might wait until it cools down here in Florida! We have been doing a lot of cold meals and salads this summer! Thanks so much for sharing at Celebrate Your Story!
Cold meals and salads are a favorite of mine too. I like using the slow cooker out on the deck. Doesnt heat the house, and sometimes I get chilled from the AC. LOL. The facts of getting old. Enjoy your weekend.
This looks easy, tasty and something everyone likes. Love the fact that it is made in a slowcooker.
Slow cooker meals are great year round. My signature dump and go feel good dinner! Enjoy your weekend.
Looks absolutely yummy. Do you add the noodles cooked or uncooked to the crockpot?
You add dry noodles. Pasta can quickly turn into a mushy mess in the slow cooker. To keep the pasta from getting soggy, add the noodles plus 1 cup of hot water (or maybe more, depending on how much liquid is already in the slow cooker) when there is 30 minutes left in the cooking cycle. Make sure to fully submerge the noodles into the pot. Thx for having me clarify!!
Thanks, Marilyn. Anxious to try this recipe next week. Glad I don’t have to use a 2nd pot.
Let me know how it tunrs out! I hate doing dishes and love this too! Enjoy your weekend.
Marilyn, your recipe was quite the hit with the men-folk tonight. Turned out perfectly. Next time, I just may add some mushrooms as a variation. Thanks again for a great recipe!
I am so tickled they all loved it! I add mushrooms at times too. They are great! My daughter-in-law adds peas! Thanks for visiting to let me know. Enjoy your week!

I have not made stroganoff in years. We like it, not sure why I haven’t/
I like using chicken instead. I may have to use cauliflower rice instead of the noodles since I try not to eat too many carbs.
Thanks for sharing at Over The Moon party,
Hugs,
Bev
