Want to remove the membrane? Weber Grill shows us how:
STEP 1:
At one end of the rack, slide a dinner knife under the membrane and over a bone.
STEP 2:
Lift and loosen the membrane until it tears.
STEP 3:
Grab the edge of the membrane with a paper towel and pull it off.
STEP 4:
The membrane may come off in one whole piece, or you may need to remove it in smaller pieces.
Marilyn, this sounds delicious and your photo makes it look so tempting. I’ve done slow cooker meatballs with grape jelly before but never ribs. And since my family loves ribs so much, I’m adding this to my recipe line-up. Thanks for sharing!
Glad I found you at #DaretoHear
I sure hope you give the ribs a try. They just fall off the bone with this recipe. Have a lovely week
I have a recipe for mini sausages with grape jelly in the bar-b-cue sauce. It is delicious. I made ribs in the crockpot and discovered one of my grandsons loves ribs. I’ll be making them again. Thanks for sharing at What’d You Do This Weekend?
Linda
I love that idea Linda. I used to do BBQ smokies in the crock pot years ago. i had forgotten all about them. Have a lovely week
Oh my gosh this looks so good! And Grape Jelly? Who knew!
Thanks for linking up @LiveLifeWell!
Blessing,
Amy
The grape jelly helps the sauce stay thick. But these are wonderful on their own too. Enjoy your weekend!
My husband LOVES barbeque ribs and sweet baby rays is his favorite sauce! I wonder what he would think about the grape jelly? Interesting.
The jelly cooks down and leaves the sauce thicker as it cooks longer. I can’t taste it. I hope you will give it a try! Enjoy your weekend.
I have been thinking about this recipe all night, it sounds so delicious. Thanks for sharing at the Snickerdoodle Create Bake Make Party.
Thank you so much! Love the party and glad you like the recipe.
Grape Jelly – that is quite a twist. I’ll trust you that it is delicious, and give it a try.
Thank you Amy. The jelly brreaks down and just adds a bit of flavor to the sauce. I was a bit skeptical when I had this the first time but I was sold very fast. Have a great week.
Sounds very good. Will have to give it a try.
Thank you Dana. Let me know how the recipe turns out. Have a great weekend.
Never would have guessed grape jelly. Not in a million years. These sound easy enough. 🙂 TFS
Me either. I copied this from my sister-in-law. I have added cola before and sometimes mixed it with Jack Daniels. That depends on what I am making. It is easy. Just open jars and in the pot! Happy Thanksgiving.
