Slice of Heaven Cake
Cake mix, caramel topping, condensed milk, eggs, cool whip, 5 candy bars? Maybe a bit sweet caramel drizzle?
I bet you have them all in your cupboard right now!!
Want a treat, to satisfy your sweet tooth and not have to go shopping?
These are items I stock pie for my pantry when the buy 10 for $10 sales are running.
So easy to throw together (yeah I say that a lot), but it is true!
Add eggs and water to the cake throw it in the oven, and then just start adding the good stuff on top.
Don’t you just love those one bowl recipes?
You can be serving in under an hour and that is something we all love!

- 1 package devil’s food chocolate cake or German choc. Cake mix
- 1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk

- Add chopped candy bars with cool whip. Top cake.
- Decorate with candy. Drizzle with caramel.
- Slice and serve.
This cake is your little Slice of Heaven!
It is so easy to put together.
You have the option of chopping the candy bars and mixing with the cool whip, or add them on top!
I also added some chocolate drizzle on top the cake.
Some of us thought it a bit mch.
I think next time I will skip it and just use the caramel. I always tend to go over the top the firs time I make a dessert.
My family enjoyed this cake. The caramel was a great companion ingredient for the snickers candy bars.
Bonus: if you don’t stock condensed milk or your local store doesn’t carry it you can see my recipe for How to Make Condensed Milk.
Great for that last minute contribution to a party or when you get unexpected guests.
It travels well, but I would refrigerate it until you are ready to serve.
