Blue Cheese Cole Slaw
Blue Cheese Cole Slaw is an adult acquired taste. As a kid I was a picky eater and tried every trick in the book to make my parents think I ate my food. I went so far as stuffing the metal tube leg of the table with spinach and making my sister eat my eggs so she could stop watching me and go out and play. I even remember flushing ice cream down the toilet. It wasn’t until I started dating my husband that I even would taste something new. The Blue Cheese dressing on a salad was one of them. Now I love blue cheese and many more acquired tastes. This cole slaw is so tasty I can make a meal out of it! You have to give it a try.
3 Color Pasta Salad
I had this dish years ago at a local Greek restaurant and loved the crisp fresh flavor of all the veggies it contained. I made it a few times but never wrote down the recipe and forgot about it. Then I saw the recipe again on another menu and came home and wrote down my notes. This one is a keeper! Try it today and let me know what you think!
Creamy Grape Salad
This tried and true recipe is always a hit at a pot luck or family gathering. Fresh fruit, cream cheese and brown sugar give it a tangy covering everyone will love. There are many versions of this Creamy Grape Salad, but in my opinion none compare to this one!
I’m so excited to try all of these salads Marilyn. They’re right up my alley and I just love salad. Thanks so much for sharing with all of us!
Thank you Chas. You just can’t beat a good summer salad. Have an awesome week!
