Creme Brûlée
Crème Brûlée ~also known as burnt cream, crema catalana, or Trinity cream is a dessert consisting of a rich custard base topped with a contrasting layer of hard caramel. It is normally served at room temperature. This Creme Brûlée presents with a real WOW factor when you add a bit of color with a fresh strawberry. Not only will your guests think you just came back from a culinary course but it is really delicious. Don’t be intimidated. It is really as easy to make as a pudding. And you bake it! The only hard part is the blow torch. Easy enough to do, you just need the right tools. Handy hubby may be able to help you there. LOL. NOT!
Creme Brûlée French Toast Casserole
You know me by now. Breakfast, Brunch, Dinner, there are really no big differences when it comes to a great special casserole. Weekends are meant to be spent with the ones you love. And in my home, that usually involves food. Good food. And lots of it. But it has to be something everyone can eat at the same time. Family bonding and storytelling happens around the table and I like to be in the middle of it. This French Toast Casserole can be put together in a jiffy and finished while someone (other than you) sets the table. Baked in under an hour you will have loads of time to tell the grands all those blackmail stories of the days when their parents were little!
Creme Brûlée Waffles
Combine your favorite waffle with a creme brûlée cream and top with a thin caramelized brown sugar glaze for a taste sensation meant for royalty. Easy to make, this recipe does require some resting time so a brunch offering is probably your best choice. This decadent treat is one you will never forget. It is well worth planning you week around! Your family will love you. This waffle should be saved for a special occasion. #creme #brulee #brunch
