Serving This Week 2-11 to 2-15
Trisagna Banana Bread Trio
This is what you need to make three different loaves of banana bread with one batter using one pan! Get plain, walnut and chocolate chip banana bread baked in one pan! I made one batter and added a different topping to each well. Everyone had their favorite and I had ONE cleanup!
Slow Cooker Irish Soda Bread With Raisins
This no rise soda bread is the bomb!! While my Corned Beef and Cabbage slow cooked in the pot I took advantage of my second slow cooker being out and made this dough. Both dishes were done at the same time. While grandpa picked up the birthday girl at the bus stop I had enough time to cool the brownies she requested. I used some leftover white chocolate chips and some peanut butter chips to sprinkle on top. With all this deliciousness and aromas, no one noticed we forgot the #9 birthday candle. Thanks to my daughter-in-law working together with me to get the dinner done on time. Happy Birthday my grown up grand.
Crock Pot Corned Beef and Cabbage
No more dry corned beef! Cook this in your slow cooker all day and you’re guaranteed success! Corned Beef and Cabbage is a favorite in our home on St. Patrick’s Day. There is nothing better than throwing a few ingredients into the crock pot and smelling it cooking all day. Even if you are a working mom, coming home to a house smelling of a tasty dinner ready to serve your family is a treat all on its own! Serve this with my Crock Pot Irish Soda Bread for a warm and satisfying meal.
Another fantastic meal… it’s almost St. Patrick’s Day and I always look forward to making a meal like this. Love that you have a slow cooker soda bread! I haven’t tried making any bread in a slow cooker but have been wanting too.
Both of those slow cooker recipe are WONDERFUL. And very easy! I just needed to have Jim slice the cabbage. This photo is from my first try! Enjoy.
I enjoy using my slow cooker for many dishes as well. These all look really good.
