Come and see what I will be cooking up on Marilyns Treats this week!
This is what I featured the week of 12-9 to 12-13 on my blog. On Tuesday morning was my Sweetheart Fantasy Fudge. Wednesday was my traditional Buckeye Candy. And wrapping up the third week of Christmas baking are Dairy and Gluten Free Sugar Cookies. Enjoy!

If you like Divinity you are going to love this fudge! And it is softer to eat since it almost melts in your mouth!
Sugar, white chocolate, marshmallow cream, vanilla, butter, and walnuts are all you need.
In less than 15 minutes you can have your pantry cleaned out of a few extras as well as satisfying your sweet tooth.
Sweetheart Fantasy Fudge makes a great gift during the holidays.
Or take it to a sick friend or welcome that new neighbor.
Don’t forget to make enough to keep at home in your sweet jar!
When I take this fudge to a Holiday Get Together is gets chosen as the walk and grab snack on the table.
It easy to eat without a plate and all the crumbs are easy to eat from a napkin. You can even still hold your drink in the other hand.
Don’t forget to make a batch for home. This will keep your family out of the plate you are planning on for the party! Enjoy!
Have a peanut butter lover in your house or family?
You may think this recipe will feed an army, but in reality it won’t last more than 2-3 days.
These babies are great for taking to a dinner party, bake sale, or just when you have company over to play cards.
They melt in your mouth!
Technically not a cookie but they scream to be included in your Cookie List!
The combination of peanut butter and chocolate is known to make a chocoholic yell uncle!
Adding these to your dessert table won’t disappoint.
Have you ever witnessed a peanut butter chocolate dessert go untouched? Well these won’t get ignored either.
In my home they are pilfered even as they are hardening! So be sure to have plenty around.
Even try to hide a batch for when the adults come to gather.
Enjoy while you can!
Dairy and Gluten Free Sugar Cookies
This Gluten Free Dairy Free cookie tastes so much like the popular sugar cookie most folks make you won’t be able to tell them apart even when they are side by side!
Do you make decorated cutout sugar cookies?
I am starting to have an awareness of just how many people have special dietary concerns.
My granddaughter needs to be folic free and it is really hard to find ingredients to satisfy the restriction. I find that gluten free most of the time works though.
I have restricted most of my holiday baking while trying to find just the recipes I can use.k
This recipe takes into consideration many of those restrictions. If you use India Tree sprinkles you can even bypass dye restrictions!
Finally a cookie you can feel guilt free about eating!
I have never had a buckeye, but they look delish! These re all superb recipes. Happy Holidays 🙂
Oh my. You need to remedy that fast!! They are bit size morsels of sheer deliciousness. LOL. I do hope if you like peanut butter and chocolate that you get a chance to try one. Thanks for the kind words about my recipes. Enjoy your week.
Thanks for sharing Marilyn, I was just thinking about treats like these sitting on my grandmother’s card table and just drooling over them as a kid.
The memories of these holiday traditions are just as good as following them. Enjoy your week And hope you are feeling a bit better since you are a bit more mobile!
Oh, Marilyn, I haven’t thought of or tasted divinity since my childhood days in Memphis. This sweetheart fantasy fudge sounds like divinity on steroids. Never have much luck making fudge but maybe I can try this recipe with more success! Love buckeyes and have included them on my cookie plates. So good!!
I love to bring back memories Leslie. Every year I find many recipes I would love to make for the holiday. I am glad you found one! Enjoy your week.
