Come and see what I will be cooking up on Marilyns Treats this week!
This is what I featured the week of 11-4 to 11-8 on my blog. On Tuesday morning was a Cranberry Apple Relish. Wednesday were Fried Brussel Sprouts with Honey Sriracha Glaze. and wrapping up Holiday Sides was Slow Cooker Mashed Potatoes the Ultimate Way! Enjoy.

If you are looking for a fresh cranberry sauce with a twist then you need to try this Cranberry Apple Relish. 4 ingredients and 20 minutes of your time is all this fresh side needs. The best part is you make it up the night before. That means 1 less thing to take up your attention when you are preparing that signature meal! #cranberry #relish #holiday
Kids hate veggies? Make them ASK to eat their veggies by serving these Fried Brussels Sprouts with Honey Sriracha Glaze. Crispy and sweet this recipe made me a believer. My family couldn’t believe I passed up dessert for a second helping of veggies! Now if I could get the left overs from permeating the fridge. Leave out the Sriracha if spicy is an issue.
The temperature of the oil is very important. If the temperature is low or the Brussels sprouts are cold or damp, it will bring the temperature down too low and the sprouts will be soggy, not crispy!
This ain’t your Grandma’s Mashed Potatoes!
The mashed potatoes use a Slow Cooker. They are easy to whip up. And easier to serve.
No reason to wait until the end of the meal prep to finish up all the last minute details.
Use cream cheese, heavy whipping cream, peppercorns and other herbs of your choice.
Your guests will love the surprise flavor and texture of the mashed potatoes.
And don’t forget the gravy!!
