Come and see what I will be cooking up on Marilyns Treats This week!
Featuring this week 10-15 to 10-19 is my Green Bean Casserole, a vegetarian Cheesy Taco Casserole and a Grilled Chicken Cobb Salad.
This week I am highlighting even more Holiday recipes that always appear on my table. First, this Green Bean Casserole using onion strings and fresh french cut green beans make a great veggie choice.
The cheesy taco casserole is served along with the main meal leftovers for a late dinner.
And the grilled chicken cobb salad has turkey substituted to help with leftovers for the next day.
What recipes do you make every Holiday? Let me know what you think in the comments.

Green Bean Casserole

The veggie casserole is probably one of the earliest dishes in the memories of family celebrations.
For my family it was originally discovered by my mom out of an old magazine from the 50’s.
It was rediscovered when I was looking for a casserole recipe on the label of a French’s Onion can.
I decided at Thanksgiving to bring back the long forgotten tradition of making the Green Bean Casserole for our family meal.
I know millions of you make this dish and also have fond memories of past family gatherings with many great dishes being served.
Why don’t you share one in the comments section below the recipe! I love to hear about everyones traditions and memories.
Grilled Chicken Cobb Salad

This Grilled Chicken Cobb Salad is as tasty as it is pretty.
The salad is healthy and I am excited it uses romaine instead of iceberg lettuce.
We sometimes make this with spinach also. I included the recipe for seasoning and grilling your own chopped chicken breasts.
I frequently use the already grilled chicken strips or leftover turkey for a quicker preparation.
Cheesy Taco Salad

My family is mostly vegetarian but I am a real meat and potatoes girl.
We all have very different schedules and dinner can be served anywhere from 4-8 pm.
Many times we end up making separate meals. My husband and I tend to eat early.
My granddaughter comes home from school and eats a snack while she waits for her parents to get home. My daughter-in-law then will make some kind of casserole or pasta dish.
By that time we only have an hour or so to relax. With the sun going down quicker I thought I would make a meal that we could all enjoy and would be ready when we all were ready to eat.
This Cheesy Taco Casserole was the choice!
