Peanut Butter Cup Oreo No Bake Cheesecake

Cheesecake· Recipe Archive

A perfect storm of flavors. Peanut butter, oreos, fudge and a fork.

Peanut Butter Cup Oreo No Bake Cheesecake

Ok. Who is in? Peanut butter. Chocolate. Cheesecake. Oreos. And No Bake????

What was I thinking. I cold eat this for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Light, creamy and not the least bit overpowering this baby needs to be on your dessert shortlist for serving your guests.

These are the INGREDIENTS You will need:

Bottom Crust:

  • 10 ounces Oreo cookies (from a 14.3 Oreo cookie package)about 2 rows
  • 5 tablespoons of unsalted butter melted

Cheesecake Layer:

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2-8 ounce packages of plain cream cheese room temperature
  • 1-14 ounce can of sweetened condensed milk
  • ¼ cup of fresh squeezed lemon juice

Toppings Layer:

  • Vanilla Whipped Cream *optional
  • Homemade Chocolate Shell *optional
  • 2 cups 8 ounces Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, quartered
  • 5 ounces crumbled Oreo Cookies This amount is a single row of cookies in the 14.3 oz package can be broken by hand

These are the INSTRUCTIONS for preparation:

Bottom Crust:

  • Grease an 8×8″ inch square dish (or similar size) and set aside. Process 10 ounces of Oreo cookies in a food processor until an even crumb is reached and transfer to a medium bowl. Mix evenly with 5 tablespoons of melted butter. Spread evenly mixture into the greased pan and press firmly into the bottom. Cover and refrigerate to set.

Cheesecake Layer:

  • Using an electric hand mixer, mix the cream cheese until smooth. Pour in the whole can of sweetened condensed milk and combine. Add the 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and ¼ cup fresh squeezed lemon juice, mix until combined. Pour over set Oreo cookie crust, and smooth until even. Place in the refrigerator to set.

Toppings Layer:

  •  While the cheesecake layer is setting, quarter the Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups and break apart 5 ounces of Oreo Cookies. You can also make the Vanilla Whipped Cream, if you chose. When the cheesecake is set which should take 2.5-3 hours or overnight, take it out and sprinkle the Oreo cookies and peanut butter cups on top, Drizzle with Homemade Chocolate Shell & serve topped with Vanilla Whipped Cream, if you wish.

Bonus: if you don’t stock condensed milk or your local store doesn’t carry it you can see my recipe for How to Make Condensed Milk.

I always have some cream cheese in my fridge. You know. For those emergencies?

This recipe came about in one of those menopause moments.

The middle of the night waking up in a sweat and needing something sweet and chocolate?

I wasn’t sure what I wanted. Peanut Butter Cups? Hot Fudge? Oreo Cookies and milk?

Well how about All of the Above.

And I jumped for it.

No Bake means no tell tale aroma to give my secret away.

Even though I could put this together quickly I knew it took a few hours in the fridge to set up firmly.

So I saved some peanut butter cups and a glass of milk while I waited.

A few hours of social media scrolling and it was ready!!

But I could hear the house stirring. So off it went into hiding.

I have this container marked KALE I keep just for occasions like these.

Tucked into the container in the very back corner I knew NO ONE was going to disturb this cheesecake.

I went for a nap and knew later that night my dreams would come true.

I hope you enjoy this Peanut Butter Cup Oreo No Bake Cheesecake as much as I do!

Looks like the cheesecake in pic has the Reese’s and Oreos mixed into the cheesecake. Also looks pie shaped. Should you put it in pie pan instead of 8X8 pan ? It looks delicious. Can’t wait to try it. Thanks for sharing.

For a springform it needs a 10” pan. If you use a pie pan I would be prepared to use 2 deep dish or 3 regular pie pans. Use glass not foil as they would be too flimsy. Good luck!
