Now for the news around here.

This was such a beautiful week in Michigan.

We had sunshine and slight breezy days. And the days are getting longer.

It is funny how quickly our seasons change.

One week we have snow, and the next we are out walking without a coat.

My husband went out on the golf course twice this week and enjoyed the nature as it is coming back to life.

Our birds are back, as well as the sandhill cranes, fox and turkeys.

And today the golf course opened for the season.

It was the perfect day to drive up for our second flu shots.

And we ended up taking mom too. She came home to Jim’s sisters house unexpectedly.

It was quite a different trip this time. But we all needed up getting vaccinated and eating at Culvers just as we did a few weeks ago.

Tonight I am exhausted from 7 hours on the road and taking care of mom.

So I am keeping this short.

I hope everyone had a great week and the days to come are full of fun and laughter.

Now On To The Party!

Spring has sprung as well here in Canada. I am also enjoying the birds and we have a wild hare living in our back yard. We’ve taken to feeding him lettuce and apples and my daughter has named him after on of her favourite Kpop idols.

I am number 54 this week!
I’m glad you were able to get your second vaccine as well as your Mom. I hope she is improving a bit. It’s hard being a caretaker–make sure to take good care of yourself too!
We had a warm week and a lot of our 2 feet of snow melted, but it is snowing again this evening! That’s Colorado!

Thank you Pat. We were all grateful the trip went well. My husband is “mourning” the loss of his mom. Se has always been really good with dates and names. Remembers everyone’s birthday. Celebs and Priests. Now she can’t and when she counted things like overpasses and exits she couldn’t count 1-5 in order. But she says full sentences now and tries to engage as best she can. So that is progress! Thanks for the kind wishes. And glad your snow melted quickly!!! Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful week!

You are welcome Laura. I saw that storm on the news and just prayed for you all. We went to Colorado for our 25th one in in May. We had weather in the 80’s and the next day it snowed. Mu poor sinuses would freak out. I hope you get some relief from that snow soon. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful week!
