Hey everybody!!! I created a new Facebook group named Homemade Everything. You can find it through search or by clicking Homemade Everything. Please come by and check it out join the group and leave a post! I wanted to extend the reach of all our blogger friends and OTM guests.

My hope is that when you leave a link here at the party you will click on this link and add your post to Facebook too. The link will always be the start of my news section here on Over The Moon.

Come party with us! Catapult your content Over The Moon! @marilyn_lesniak @EclecticRedBarn

Now for the news around here.

How was your week??

For a change mine was a bit slow.

Other than one Dr appointment I was able to stay stress free and home.

This Mac is getting easier. And I didn’t refer to my phone except to run through social media and read my feed and take care of notifications, shares and likes.

I am still missing many of those on the Mac when I check my accounts. I think that is the hardest for me to get the hang of. But it will come.

Now that I have had a whole week to “do my blog thing” as they call it around here, things are getting easier.

I love to make notations for everything step by step since I can’t remember from one task to the next what I just did. Then I just need to find where I documented everything. Organizing those is next.

Can any of you relate?

I don’t turn on TV except for the end of the night to see local news and ONE channel of world news.

I keep up but don’t get oversaturated. And I try to watch news that is simple and lets me decide how to sort things out.

I don’t go crazy that way and sleep much better.

Things shouldn’t have to be so hard.

I long for my 20-60’s when I was so busy I barely knew what the world was doing. I guess since I am home more and the kids are around there is more awareness.

I let them worry and ask me about things.

And since Miss Jo isn’t allowed more than an hour screen time after school we play more games than watch TV.

I remember when my parents called it the boob tube. Now I know why!

I haven’t cooked much this week since it is not my turn. And the fast food 3 times is killing me.

I don’t feel as well as when I eat healthier and eat less.

As I spell check this there are way too many sentences that begin with “I”. That is something I strive hard to avoid and usually something I can do.

Know please that I think of all of you as I visit comments and posts.

It puts me in my happy place and thinking positive. That is what life is all about!

Have a great week. Stay stress free when possible and know none of you are ever truly alone.

I got you!!

Hugz.

Hi Marilyn, I’m glad to hear you had a peaceful week, it sounds delightful. I spent some time with my kids this weekend and it felt good. I left a book review at #157, a food/cook book-just to prove I can write about something besides COVID-19, ha ha. Have a pleasant week everyone.

One of the best blogging features of a Mac is that you can use the Notes function on your iPhone and type or voice record your in-process steps as you are cooking/creating and then copy/paste them from the Notes function on your Mac into your blog post editor. Easy peasy! This week I’m linking up at 125 & 126. Have a great week!

Thank you for the party, I’m #119. Yes, the boob tube is definitely a great word for TV these days. I don’t watch any news at all, not even local news. The horrific bias and propaganda is so obvious. It’s not even “news” anymore. I long for the days when journalism used to be just about the “facts” and not opinion which swing only one way.

Good for you Amy. I know that whichever way someone leans on situations you aren’t getting a complete story. Like playing telephone as a kid. I see sometime on the future news will be just that. Facts. and it won’t be “entertainment”. Thanks for sharing and enjoy your week!
