Now for the news around here.

Nothing much new happening around here.

Between the hot weather returning, a half day lost trying to get my arthritis to settle down, some gardening and rustling up a nicer vase and some colored flat pieces of glass for my pineapple plant, it was fairly quiet.

Miss J is taking riding lessons from her Auntie and having a ball.

Auntie was teaching the Equestrian team at the local high school. And all her life she has been show riding. They have 4 beautiful horses.

One is a mini horse that Auntie’s youngest girl rides. And Miss E and little E both ride in shows.

Jovie has always wanted to ride, so she is training to ride in competition.

It is fun to watch her lead and show her invisible horse around the house. This grandma thinks she will win if she does get the opportunity.

The horse has been trained and ridden in competition, so it is just Miss J that needs to get up to speed.

It is a fun and safe time she can spend with her cousins.

Mrs. A has a sister that has been going through a journey of infertility for 12 years. She now has an 18 month old and just 2 weeks ago had a transfer of her last embryo.

Fingers crossed she makes it through. But her numbers are extremely high so say a few prayers for her.

She has also been letting her little one learn to ride the mini horse. This child thinks it is HERS and is very protective. The cousin that owns the pony, even though she is only 5, is very forgiving of her little cousin. And they have developed a strong bond together.

It is heart warming to see these moments. Especially with all the negativity surrounding us.

I hope you are all finding times and ways to make some life long memories with loved ones.

Stay safe and see you as I visit your posts!!

I need to hold on to those little moments too. Hope you are doing well. What will school like when you start? I hope the district will have the bugs worked out. We have split the kids to face to face for some. And a Virtual Academy for others. But if things change, there is no crossovers. The face to face will work on studies they missed last year. The week is split up for the kids too. The teachers must be going crazy! Stay safe.

Thanks DeeDee. That kid is fearless. And her love of animals of all kinds knows no boundaries. I hate buying picture frames!! I used to teach needlework of all kinds and then have “parties” like tupperware. I thought the frames were expensive. And I ran out of room really fast too. So I would set them up so you could turn them around. That made seasonal decorating very quick! I will be over taking notes soon. Thanks for sharing and have a safe week!

We are in a very diverse neighborhood. Farms, sheep, llama, goats, wetlands, forests, lakes and golf courses. But on one side of our golf course is a stable for show horses and the other side is an orchard. I love walking to the stables and watching the horses graze in the fields and put through their paces in the rings. It is relaxing. Thanks for sharing Joann and enjoy your week!
