Coca Cola BBQ Sauce ~A unique basting sauce with a bit of spice and tempered with the sweetness of Coca Cola. It will liven up your meats when used as a marinade and give a flavor bloom to your BBQ dishes. A large flavor will kick your tastebuds into the next course. This sauce would taste great with my BBQ Brisket Shepherds Pie too!
Coca Cola BBQ Sauce
Ingredients
- 2 Onions
- 3/4 cups Coke
- 3/4 c ups ketchup
- 2 tablespoons of vinegar
Instructions
- Shred or blend-shop the onions
- Combine all ingredients in pot. bring to boil and cover the pan
- Reduce heat and simmer for about 45 minutes until the sauce is nice and thick

I think you could use the powder even though I never have. Strength and texture would be the difference. Just put a bit at a time and taste between adding. I am glad you like the recipe Debi. Have a great week!
