When my husband tasted it he absolutely couldn’t utter a word for at least two minutes.
And even though he always mentions how good his meal is, he mentioned it repeatedly today.
Using a brioche bread is one of the secrets to making this a perfect answer to french toast.
The cinnamon glaze permeates the cooked bread and drips down the sides and onto the plate.
The drizzle of the combined cream cheese and confectioner sugar not only adds an additional flavor, but a contrasting color as well.
No butter or syrup is needed with this french toast recipe.
Nothing says “I love you” better than a serving of Brioche French Toast with a Cinnamon Glaze.
This recipe is a keeper! Top with a dollop of whip cream and watch their eyes in disbelief.

This is perfect for my night before valentines day searching lol. This was my favorite at Ihop and when they discontinued I had no reason to go anymore. If my fiance likes them as much as I do, I might just make them every Sunday lol
I am so glad you found it Jade!!! It is my favorite too. I sure hope you both enjoy it. It does make a nice special meal. Let me know!! I always like feedback. Enjoy your day!
Yum! Love using brioche for french toast.
I do too Alexandra. Brioche gives the french toast a heartier texture. And you can pile up your toppings and not worry it will fall apart! Enjoy!
Mmmmmm, mmmmm, mmmm I don’t think I’d be able to wait till Valentine’s day for this treat. It deserves to be served every single weekend and probably on Wednesday evenings to for pudding 😀
Ok then. Invite me over for Wednesday and you’ve got a deal! Thanks Michelle. Have a lovely week.

Thanks Melissa! Whenever you do, it will be worth it!
I can’t wait to try your version; thanks for having it out there.
Apparently IHOP is removing this from their menu, according to my waiter.
I didn’t see it on their online menu, so I’m thinking it’s already gone.
This is the only reason I even went to IHOP. Best breakfast item ever 🙁
Around here it is seasonal. I love this so much. It should be labeled a dessert! If you make it come back ndlet me know!
They did remove it from their menu. But you can still have it just know how to order it. Say you want the brioche french toast with the cinnamon glaze and cream cheese icing. The waiter will try and say that they dont think they have that but they resllu do. Ask nicely if they can please go in the kitchen and ask the cook. They do it have it though. Dennys brioche french toast is really good as well
That is too bad! I hope it comes back soon. Thx
